Mission Statement
The mission of Tarrytown Municipal Housing Authority (TMHA) is to meet our community’s housing needs by providing decent, safe and affordable housing. It is our goal to promote self-sufficiency, personal growth and neighborhood revitalization by maximizing our resources and maintaining the fiscal veracity of this agency. It is TMHA’s belief that housing is a basic right and the substance for a successful life. We are committed to serving the Tarrytown community in a manner that demonstrates professionalism, care and consideration.
Franklin Courts
Located at 50 White Street in historic Tarrytown, New York, this sprawling, 58,375 square foot apartment complex was first built in 1952. There are 70 multi-family garden style apartments which are housed in 14 one or two story standalone buildings.
Franklin Towers
Also located at 50 White Street in historic Tarrytown, New York, this ten story apartment building sits on 80,800 square feet of land. Originally constructed in 1964, Franklin Towers was constructed more than a decade after Franklin Courts. The brick structure contains 81 apartment units, many with an excellent view of the Hudson river.
